Attack Roll

Attacks are resolved in combat by using D% dice. Each attack has a chance to hit based on factors like Cover Range and Target Size.

Compare the roll to the target number. if the roll is lower than the target number, at least one of the shots fired managed to hit. If the attacker was firing in Burst or Full Auto fire mode, you then add the Recoil Modifer for each shot fired, one shot at a time, until either the burst is met, or the attacks start missing. (Example, Wrex attacks with his M-8 Avenger at close range, with a full turn, full auto attack. His chance to hit is 70% after various modifiers. So he makes his attack roll and gets a 56. So the first shot hits at 56. Since the M8 has a recoil modifier of 6, that means that the second shot lands at 62 and the third shot lands at 68, the fourth shot misses.
